It rained today! This was the first rain I've been in for eighty days on trail, so it was a nice change from the dry heat we've been having. Right before the rain started I met Purple Rain and her five week old son, Sunny. Purple Rain hiked the AT a few years ago and was out doing trail magic while taking Sunny on his first hike. At the end of the day we camped at a highway with even more trail magic, this time in the form of five coolers filled with all sorts of snacks and cold drinks.
