This morning we got off to a pretty lazy start, getting in trail around 7:00. This carried over to the day, as it seemed like none of us were as motivated as usual. The Marble Mountain Wilderness offered great scenery and a couple of good views of Mt. Shasta, which we have seen every day since we did the Hat Creek Rim. Today the peak was shrouded by clouds that gave it a very Olympian feel which is a little ironic because I'm unable to watch the Olympics due to being out in the middle of the wilderness.
