I had my longest day yet today, thanks in part to the change in scenery. I came up out of the desert and into Sequoia National Forest which is my second favorite area so far after Mt. San Jacinto. The trees provide ample shade and there are deer and quail running around. The trail is level and soft with dirt and pine needles.
