Today I went over Silver Pass, the second to last pass of the JMT. This pass was a little frustrating because to get there you climb a steep thousand feet, then lose two thousand, then gain three back. Then once you get to the pass, there is another quarter mile of climbing until you start descending again. Once I started down, I found a good campsite by a lake that I took a cold bath in. This leaves about 20 miles into Mammoth tomorrow for a resupply.
