I woke up early this morning with the intent of going at least 30 miles to have a short day into Chester tomorrow, but around noon I hit a good piece of trail magic. Some professors from the University in Chico, CA were camped at a trailhead for the weekend and had a table laid out filled with all sorts of fruit and sandwiches. Since it hasn't been this hot since the desert I justified sitting there until 4:00 before heading on. One of the professors is coming to Lincoln in October for a conference so hopefully I'll be able to meet up with him then.
